This sorrel mare possesses everything we look for in a horse.  The boys all have roped on her, from the PRCA level to taking Travis to Nationals twice.  Beth can  take her to a barrel jackpot and be right in the hunt.  Two full siblings to “Vega” will get hauled this summer.  We love her.

Clay cut cattle on this red roan mare in high school, and started roping calves on her in college.

Traveling partner Rick Greiner and Clay qualified for the College Finals on her twice.  She has become a veteran in the Badlands Circuit.

Better known as “Newelly” and “Duece,” These two buckskin geldings are primarily known as Clay’s bull dogging team.  Clay with the help of Todd and Brian Fulton turned them into dogging horses his last year of high school  Prior, Newelly excelled in the roping futurities and is still often pulled out to head steers.  Duece was a barrel futurity money winner and calf horse.  We hope they never get old.

They can do anything.  

Full brother, PC Quick Bob- (Te) is an oustanding calf horse.

Full sister, PC Boons Sheyenne- won money in the 2008 barrel futurities, qualifying for numerous short rounds including the 5-State.

PC Boston Box x RC Little Wood

“Little Joe” has been Drew’s horse since he was weaned as a little colt.  They made it into the short round of the State High School Finals and won a round of the 4-H Finals in the calf roping.  Drew is kind enough to offer him occasionally as a breakaway horse.  Little Joe is a full brother to Nutmeg, the 2008 South Dakota Rodeo Association Breakaway Horse of the Year, owned and ridden by Sunni Reeves.

Rascal is a full brother to Frenchmans Guy. We lost him this past spring of 2009.  He was in his twenties.

We believe it takes a solid ranch foundation to break and develop a young horse properly before exposing him to the pressures of the arena.  We usually don’t start one in the arena until they are four year olds.  Before that, they are busy learning what it takes to be a horse.
